In the first part of this activity, students develop an ethogram of bird species’ behavior at a ground feeding station. In the second part of the activity, students choose two behaviors from this ethogram and conduct a behavioral study to determine if the rate of these feeding behaviors changes over the course of the school year.
Spanish copies of the student reproducible pages are included in the lesson plan.
Data sheets and sample tables and graphs are included in the lesson plan as well.
